The debut was moved to Thursday next week, most likely same time, same place.
Oh, joy...
No, seriously. I'm glad. I'm just too tired to fully express how relieved I am.
I'm in big trouble. Seriously.
That's why I'm blogging tonight. I need something to direct all my thoughts to. Otherwise, they'll just form webs among webs of interrelated [sometimes even not] rants, ideas, concepts, vague dreams, and whatnots. Heck, whatever's in the mind, anyway.
Well, this is the start of the second week. Hoorah!
Second week of what? n_n You know what I'm talking about. :D
The seniors are all busy so we had no choice except to focus on our batch thingies. A good thing, if you will, but I somewhat miss the rigorous pacing said sens put us through, rather than the easy-going one we do among ourselves.
Anyway, I'm not making not much sense, am I? Good, I'm not supposed to.
Let's just say my body doesn't ache as much as it used to last week. And I have also lost one or two kilograms already.
My mind is going bonkers trying to juggle everything and keeping them in tiptop shape. So, don't be surprised if you yourselves will go bonkers just by reading this. Seriously, I need a medium to channel everything out. A buffer, if you will. And what better buffer to use than this blog? As much as I would like to write a new fanfic [or continue one as many hatemails are already telling me since last month], fanfiction takes too much time. And too much hullabaloos on my part. At least with this baby, I won't have anything to bother except grammar and spelling. Sometimes, even those are ignored [oops, my bad]. Besides, I'm not expecting many readers of this site. I can count with just one hand how many are actually bothering to update themselves with this regularly. Hey, don't mistake me. I'm not moping. I built this site not for others, but for myself. It's my site and I practically don't give a damn whether somebody reads this or not.
Frankly, I'm just too tired and too preoccupied to promote this. As long as I have a customizable site to blog on, I'm happy. That's it.
Anyway, I figured I'll be migrating to Blogger by next year. We will be studying basic CSS and even a few advanced codes on this by this sem. Hopefully, I'll be able to design my own Blogger Theme. I have the needed softwares anyway, like Photoshop and Frontpage.
I've just learned Image Mapping using Javascript last Friday. I could hardly contain my interest over the topic when my prof explained the main purpose of Image Maps. I was like,
"Ah! Is that what those bloggers use to design their themes?"
"What do you mean by design?"
"You know the types that you have to click the face or hands of a featured character in the background to access the blogger's profile..."
"OK--"
"Or! Or the type in which you have to click a certain design in the abstract feature to view the Blog Main?"
"Ah, ok, I get your point -- "
"OR the ones in which you can't totally personalize the background because you'll ruin not only the whole theme but the places where you can click links?"
"Yes! Yes! That's Image Mapping!"
"....WOW!!"
Er, yes. That's part of my hyperactiveness last Friday.
If you're kind enough to ask, I'll even give you a simple sample webpage that uses image mapping and hotspots. The links used are real, by the way.
So, moving on.
Could you please tell Mrs. President that her so-called "achievement" of making the texting rate only Php 0.50 per text is worthless?
Every single cellular network here in the Philippines offers Unlimited Text with varying prices, depending on the length of days the unlimited texting feature will be activated. With the cellphone's "Send to Many" or "Send to Group" feature, people can now send a message to 90 persons with a single press. Granted that user has many quotes to send, user can send at least 10 messages per day to everybody in user's contacts. Do the math.
Whatever yaya.
Honestly, my thumbs usually ache just by deleting unnecessary group messages from my inbox. Once, I bothered to save the decent quotes, but eventually I receive the same messages over and over again. I tell you, people here abuse the Unlimited Text promo. There was even a time when the rate of me deleting my messages was far smaller than the rate new messages kept on coming. If I'm not mistaken, two of my classmates where having a contest of who could send the most GMs to the block. XD Weird.
Speaking of GMs. Did you know that most of the oneshots recently written are based on quotes and short stories sent via text messages? It's either that or vice versa.
I found it pretty amusing and pretty damn annoying.

Meh, I'm done ranting for the day.
I think I'll start studying for my Math 17. :D
Ja, minna-san!
